He's got 72% KO ratio, and is at 100% at light heavy. Not exactly pillow fisted like a Devin Haney, and he's the only one of the 168lb champs to make it to the final bell with Canelo.

But it's Hearn. He's had a ton of wildly bad claims.

I think he's got a better chance than people here seem to want to give him though. He's got some skill, and 175 is clearly a better weight for him.

6 fights later, people still think Beterbiev has a weak chin.

He's faced some big punchers - Joe Smith, Yarde, Gvozdyk, Ralaijdkic - and not even been wobbled but we're supposed to believe that Callum Smith wipes him out in 1 round with his left hook.

Don't get me wrong, it's a very potent weapon but Smith has many weaknesses.

I think it's gonna be an interesting fight, and I really doubt Beterbiev is going to knock Callum out in Rd 1. In fact, we haven't seen a first round KO from him in 7 years, and a decade since anything close to a real 1 punch KO. His stoppages have usually been due to accumulation of damage. Smith, on the other hand, HAS had one punch knockouts recently at 175. I don't disagree that Eddie is no expert, but I think you might be getting a little into the hype with Beterbiev.
