Lmfao get over it? It’s called a forum for a reason. Canelo doesn’t want the smoke, it’s ok to just admit it. There are other ways of saying “no” than outright saying it, such as is the case here. Fk anyone saying “just accept it” the public dictates what Canelo earns, we could say “fkkkk him, he can accept my not watching” and he’s the one thad has to deal with it. Tired of folks acting like boxers dictate jack shhh, two boxers without a public is the equivalent of money losing. The sooner the nut huggers realize the faster we can turn around this a-side bullshhhh. It takes two fighters, one here talked mad shhhh and wants to make it seem the other is pricing himself out. Call a duck a duck, even if he has red hair and golf cleats. This is a duck of the highest kind. Why? All the shhhh he talked about “I know I can beat him”

A side made the offer. B side can take it or leave it. That’s his choice. Bivol isn’t in a position to dictate anything because he has no other options to make that kind of money. Look at his purse for his last fight coming off his big win.

Canelo will make $40-50 million no matter who he fights next. PBC and DAZN will gladly pay up.

        There's nothing else to say.

Canelo doesn't want this fight, just pretending like he does to save face.

Make Canelo/Spence, Canelo/JeCharlo, Canelo/JaCharlo, Canelo/Crawford, Canelo/Munguia, Canelo/Thurman, Canelo/DGarcia.
          What???????????????

Thurman and Danny - they are semi retired and would welcome the cash out money - but those fights do nothing for the guy who is supposedly all about legacy.

I doubt Canelo can even make 160 anymore but if he can make 164 or so he can fight catch weight fights against those fighters you mentioned and avoid the killers at 168 such as Morrell and Benavidez.

BUT IN THAT CASE - GIVE UP ALL THE BELTS!!!!

He's had his warmup fight with Ryder at 168 - if his next opponent at 168 isn't named Morrell, Benavidez or Bivol it's a straight up duck.

Bivol doesn't care about the money, and has said so for years now. He wants the belts. That's why he wants to take Canelo's at 168. If he can't get Beterbiev in the ring, he'll settle for Canelo's, and remove the excuse that he only won because he's the bigger man. Don't know why it's so hard for some people here to understand that some fighters aren't in it for the money.

canelo got completely exposed and bivol would beat him easier 2nd time round, he was a bit cautious first few rounds, probably bought into the hype and expected canelo to be better then he was. good chance it would be 120-108 in a rematch

When they are talking about the same terms, they Don mean the $$ terms, Canelo’s team is bot that ignorant to accept that Bivol needs more money. They are talking the terms
of the weight! Bivol should just sign and beat him again? Or is he so dumb to think that he is going to make this type of $$ with someone else?

Bivol just called Canelo a coward. This is where Canelo is in 2023..

I believe Canelo was sincere when he said he wanted the rematch last year, but I believe his handlers have finally talked some sense into him. They saw (and probably Canelo too) that he no longer has the extra gear to press and take out a 3rd tier guy like John Ryder, so he just is not going to have what it takes to raise his game to beat Bivol. I am shocked that he would not immediatly opt to take on Benavidez at 168lbs though. Going after a worn-out cruiserweight instead of taking the fight that the entire boxing community is demanding suggests a serious loss in confidence by Canelo and his team. Canelo is ruining his reputation here, even among his staunchest supporters.

It doesn't matter. This rematch is not going to happen. Even if Bivol accepted the old terms, Mauricio would step up and declare that the WBC won't sanction a Russian to fight for their belt, thereby giving Team Canelo the out it needs.
