problem is he doesn’t need the rematch for his legacy, for his pocket yes it’d help a lot, but he’s good whether the rematch happens or not, while Canelo will always have that loss which I highly doubt he wants to avenge badly.

i’d love to see Bivol beat up Canelo once more though so yeah i hope they can work things out

Bivol doesn't need the rematch for his legacy, but he can use it to further his legacy, and for sure he can use the money.
Fighting Canelo a second time would give him the most money that he'll probably in the rest of his career.

He accepted the first fight with low money and everyone said “beat the king and then you make money!” Now you’re saying he should take low money again, so Canelo has less negotiation power against OTHER guys!?

Bivol's not playing on a level playing field when he's negotiating against Canelo, and the WBC's President Mauricio Sulaiman.
So the best that he can do at this point is to defeat Canelo again, and get the most money he's going to make in his career.
In so doing he'll begin to break the strangle hold that Canelo has in future negotiation's, whether that's against Bivol in a third fight, or against other fighters.
