I've noticed Taylor's decline started by the fifth round. After the fourth round he was no longer the same fighter. He stopped throwing punches and attempted a lot of clinches but the referee wasn't having none of it.

From that point on he was like in deer in headlights. He didn't know what to do. By that time Lopez' confidence began to ooze. He started walking Taylor down and pot shotting him with uppercuts and right hands.

Let's do same day weigh-ins, so guys aren't depleted early in fights, trying to make weight

Anytime I see a fighter dance or shuffle after eating a combo I know he's done.

He looked exactly the same on the ring walk and I could tell by the look on his face that he knew he wasn't there physically. When you know, you know. He was dead at the weight and never got going. Teo fought a great fight too, which made it even more of insurmountable challenge. What's worrying is that Taylor looked exactly the same against Catterall and hasn't been able to rectify that. I think physically it's over for him at 140lbs and I'm not sure he has the physicality to compete at 147lbs against much sturdier men. I'm not sure where he goes from here, but if he retired tomorrow, he will always be a former undisputed champion - and only the sixth person in history to do it at the time I believe - he's had a hell of a career and achieved a lot. He's never had any super fights in a money-making sense, but hopefully he's made enough to never have to worry about money either. I suspect he'll be back though - I just foresee a very tough road at 147lbs. I hope he proves me wrong and I'd love to see him come good again. In the meantime, congratulations to Lopez. I'd love to see him fight Prograis, Haney, or Garcia next.
Canelo was the sixth. Josh was one before that.

Is it just me or is Taylor declining, he's never had the greatest gas tank but he's been lacking a lot energy in recent fights. It could just be he peaked against Prograis and he'll never have another performance like that but the man I saw then isn't the man I saw on Saturday.

Full congratulations to Lopez though, he's an excellent fighter on the back-foot; he just needs to improve his front foot game and he'll be a tough man to beat.

And here come the excuses, I told you this would happen, this guy is the sorest Loser in the sport, worst than Windmill, he only congratulated Teo to save face after Ian John Lewis was caught in a kilt out in Glasgow city centre after his embarrassing judging vs Catterall.

Top Rank is empty @ 147! However, JT will continue to lose @ 140! JT should beg Bob to get him Conor Benn!

It's ok mini-Fury, just give your boy Tipsy King a call, have a few shots, sniff a little booger sugar, and fuhgitt about it. Fight and destroy a few Euro-boxers in the UK at 147, and all of the media will jump on your bandwagon again. Then, come and get beat to sleep by Boots or Vergil for a big payday, and repeat .

That was the whole point of the set up. You've been out for 16 months. They were banking on you looking shot. That's exactly how you looked. These set ups have been going on for years now in mass numbers. But no one sees what is going on? Strange. Very strange.

No one is anywhere near their best being out 16 months. That was the whole point of the fight happening. Bob and Teo set Taylor up. Just like the rest of the set ups that have been going on for years.

But you pretend otherwise. It's to your benefit with this perception.
