I'm not a "fan boy" i just tell it like it is at the end of the day boxing is a business and fighters have their worth Usyk doesn't sell many tickets and until recently had next to no fans now everybody is on his **** he's still not a big seller if it was AJ yeah 60 - 40 or even 50 - 50 but Usyk? has less market value.

And yet, when Frank Warren proudly announced that Fury vs Usyk was a done deal, he said the purse split was going to be 50/50.

Yes, DAZN gave Eddie a new 5 year deal in the UK in 2021 and now they have given him a new 3 year deal in Mexico and the US.

If you were running a business, and one of your employees was doing a lousy job and (allegedly) losing you billions of dollars every year, would you keep extending his contracts, or would you get rid of him as soon as you were legally able to?

You are seriously saying that 2 of the smartest and most experienced promoters in the game would begin negotiations by telling the other side, and the media, that the opponent deserved a significantly bigger slice of the pie than they intended to let him have?

Really? Like, hard ball negotiation tactics, but in reverse? Start off by telling the other side that the purse split will be 50/50 ... then offer them 30%, take it or leave it?

The truth is that Usyk is worth 50% because he has 3 of the HW title belts plus the Ring title, and he got paid more for his last fight than Fury has ever earned for any fight in his career.

Arum, Warren and even Fury himself knew that and fans like you accepted it as a fact until Fury moved the goalposts and told you to start believing something else. It never ceases to amaze me how gullible and easily manipulated some boxing fans are!

Of course I don't believe Fury is petrified of Usyk.

But I am 100% certain that he knows Usyk would be a very difficult opponent for him and he wants to make as much money as possible from his WBC title and unbeaten record against easier opponents, like AJ, before taking the risk of losing them to Usyk.

I also believe that Fury believes time is on his side, and the longer he stalls and wastes time before fighting Usyk, the better his chances of winning the fight will be.
