Nice thought but watch Loma vs Salido and Teo, no-matter how many times he was flagrantly fouled Lomachanko never retaliated because he wasn't trained to fight dirty, it's not in his nature.

Low blows, holding and hitting, roughing him up, elbows inside, it's the recipe to beating Lomachanko and Haney is big enough to do it.

in the 12th round against Lopez, when Lopez was getting the best of lomachenko knocking him around and hurting him (with 40 seconds left in the round), he tried multiple times to headbutt him and succeeded. I saw this fight live like most of you and I said it on fight night. It's those dirty headbutt tricks that Andre Ward, Hopkins, and Holyfield used for years to catch someone coming in to make it look like an accident. Before he fought Rigo, he asked the ref backstage(and it's on camera) if he could headbutt Rigo to get distance from clinching. He literally asked if he could put his head in his chest to pull back. WTF. and everyone on this site defended it!!!!!! Loma is dirty as *** and sneaky with it.

Welllllll... I said confidence, not chance, but I was speaking on behalf of the age discrepancy and size, which Haney has on his side, but Loma is no slouch and at one point would have easily bested Haney. Now, it's more or less up in the air.

If your opponent has you in a death grip, there's absolutely nothing wrong with using your head, shoulder or whatever to create space and fight out of it. This is fighting. Haney wants Loma to be a good boy and timidly accept the jab and grab, but Loma is not going to lose like that. Fans on boths side of this fight are going to blame Harvey Dock for doing his job and making these guys fight or for not doing his jab and letting Haney hug.
