He is dangerous if you fight ****** but I think just about any decent HW with good movement and a brain in their head would show how just how badly limited he is.
The only way too lose to him is too fight in straight lines or/and stand their like a dummy not being defensively responsible really. He has two punches in his whole entire arsenal. There is no jab, no uppercut, no bodyshots whatsoever. There is no variety! Just a right hook and straight left and him being a southpaw as limited as he is, that makes him difficult.
He is useless on the front foot.
I actually expected with Joyce coming in light for him to move a bit early sort of similar to how he did vs Dubois and pick it up after 3-4 rounds.

I don't see him as elite. I'd put him on a sort of Ortiz/Ruiz level. I think he has similar limitations to Ruiz actually.

Fury, Usyk, Sanchez would all play with him. Wilder probably just nukes him into oblivion.
I think there are many others that could potentially beat him also even guys deemed a lot lesser I feel could beat him by being a bit negative and not playing to his strengths like Joyce did.

Each time pausing before the next and kind of in disbelief, like was it a trap, is Joyce going to try to counter me? is he really just going to stand there and eat it? is it literally this easy, shouldnt I use a jab to set it up or something?

He was waiting to see if Joyce is going to do a mocking dance or something like when Mayorga used to give away free shots, but no it wasnt a trap, it wasnt a show boat, it is literally how Joyce fights, he just stand there eating shots with no game plan or anything. Ive never seen anything like it.

I’ll hold my hands up though, I definitely underestimated Zhang and I certainly didn’t think he’d beat Joyce however…

I’ll put it to you this way, if you take away Zhang’s left hand, what else does he really have?

Usyk and Fury aren’t gonna be on the line like Joyce was all night. They’ll just circle left, take the left hand away from him and use their far superior hand speed to pick him off all night. It’s easy work for both and a few other active HW’s tbh.

I would still like to see him fight Fury or Usyk. Who cares if he loses?
