DLH, Hatton and JMM made their biggest payday fighting FMJ. So what makes you think the winner of PAC and Cotto won't want the biggest payday? After Floyd beats the winner of PAC/Cotto; I'm pretty sure Mosley will be next in line because who else is FMJ going to fight? But saying he needs to fight Mosley next or now is ridiculous. Mosley needs to find another dance partner for Jan. 30th. Mosley is the odd man out. HBO showed that when he keeps getting bumped from his so-called fight dates. They showed it when they are willing to put up $20mil for a returning fighter than putting up $10mil for 'Shame' to fight anybody. The only people who take "Shame" Mosley serious are the fans who think he can beat Floyd.

dlh,hatton,pac,cotto with exception of jmm are already made in terms of money and fan bases. they just want more of it.

As for mosley, he can, but not likely, beat floyd. The odds would certainly be closer that 4:1 against jmm. I'm just hoping Pbf would take more risks on his next fights.

if you look at mosley's loses, he has problems with defensive fighters that have great counters, and mayweather is the best in the world in that aspect. Mosley doesn't stand a chance. I would much rather see the winner of cotto-pac or even Paul Williams against mayweather. Other than those fights, mayweather doesn't really have anyone that can come close to challenging him.

Shane is ranked higher than Cotto by pretty well every serious boxing expert. Age is irrelevant. Are you saying that no heavyweight needs to beat Vitali Klitschko even though he's the #1 ranked heavyweight because he's 38? To be considered the best you have to beat the best, regardless of their age. The only people who are pretending Shane is too old are Mayweather fans. Nobody else.

when was the last time vitali loss??? mosley just recent got outboxed by miguel cotto....pbf has said that a belt doesn't make him, he's been champ six times in 5 other weight divisions.....he said feels that he has already prove himself but he came back to fight the fights that offer the most money/relavancy. cotto and pac are way more relevant than ssm. i think cotto should be ranked higher than both ssm AND pbf because he has face and beat better opposition at ww . i think shane is a good fighter but needs to get behind both pac and cotto.

if the fight present itself to be relevant both financially and legacywise, then i think floyd will make it happen. if shane would have fought clotty, berto, or rematched cotto and won, i would have no problem with this fight. but all he's done at ww recently was lose to cotto and beat a plasterless margarito.

agreed...no way does a game pbf lose to a 40 year slugger who can't stop the jab and fights flat-footed with avg defense. i see pbf winning this fight rather easily, 9-3 or 8-4.
