Excellent fight. Great atmosphere. Benavidez really is a monster and a superstar. A fight against Canelo would be amazing.

Respect to Plant, he hung in there and was still throwing hard shots in the last round but he can't f.uck ith Benavidez.

Bayless is awful and has been for years.
Not only did he let Plant get away with blatant holding consistently, he also allowed him to paw with his jab and put it in Benavidez's face without throwing it, which is illegal.

Plant landed 15% of his punches. Even in the early rounds, he didn't land much clean and Benavidez blocked or made him miss. His defense is perfectly fine. He's no mindless face first brawler.

          Holding is illegal. Ydksab. Period.

Plant fought a great fight he had a great gameplan, but it was only a matter of time until Benevitez got through with the punches he needed.

Wasn’t even Benevitez’s best performance and he pitched a shutout from round 6 on. Dudes like a tank.

Both guys warriors and what a great fight with the right guy winning which make the evening so much more satisfying to not see bad judging for the main event.

Kenny Bayless is usually a very good ref but he positively ****** tonight. It was either an off night or he bet money on Plant especially to last the distance because there’s no way he finishes on his feet with a big assist from Bayless.

Pbc is less than 10 years old and it has alot of robberies in favor of black fighters so his assessment isn't wrong

Damn! What a fight? My hat goes out to both fighters and what a Hell of a chin and a championship heart on Caleb Plant. I mean he took an hellacious ass whooping in there tonight by David Benavidez.

Also, what a terrible job of refereeing by Kenny Bayless? If it had not been for the excessive holding by Caleb Plant; The Mexican Monster would have had a knockout victory tonight.

The bottom line is Plant just didn't have enough power to keep the much younger and stronger man off him. It was exactly how I saw the fight playing out in the first place.

Like I said before Benavidez doesn’t have the one punch power like Canelo and most great ones ,, I think Canelo will stop Benavidez in the later rounds,,
