The big problem I have with all these refs is they're 50+ years old. Refs like Adalaide Byrd are just too slow and biased to let fighters fight.

I actually respected Colbert hanging tough until the decision was announced and he tried to pretend like he actually deserved to win. As far as plant, I wanted Benavidez to stop him but no reasonable way you can call Plant fake after that fight. Dude took everything Benavidez threw and fought to the end.

He good at taking ass whoopins from real ones. I’ve been saying this for a long long long time. If/when plant fights world level fighters that are in their prime, he will lose time and time again. However, losing to canelo and Benavidez is not necessarily anything to hang your head on. I’m not so sure David beats canelo as I was before. Although I think David whooped plant worse then canelo did even though he didn’t get the stoppage. Not much changed for me after this fight, it’s just confirming what I’ve been saying all along. Out of all the top 68 dogs, who you think Plant can beat? I say none.

Good fight went how I expected but the right man won, Plant showed heart he's a solid competitor and he will still be a challenge for anyone at 168.
