Yoka found his level as a pro, one more loss and he is a journeyman. he should have had two UD losses, he clearly lost to Bakole and Takam. Bakole is a contender, Takam is an old gatekeeper.

Uoka can't do nothing without the juice. Dude ain't even a gatekeeper. A gatekeeper is takam a former contender not someone who never made it even to contender status.

This is not a shock. 1st of all Yoka was a drug cheat which helped a lot since 2nd of all his style is not suitable for pro boxing.

The juice does not help only physically but mentally as we can see. He is clearly afraid of the opponents and extremely afraid of getting hit. He is like a chicken running from danger completely content on taking the L as long as he doesn't get punched too hard. No eye of the tiger, no toughness.

Harrison and Yoka are prime examples of how success early on destroys fighters in the long run. Both look like they'd rather be anywhere else besides in the ring during their fights.

You can be a good boxer while being an awful fighter and that's Yoka in a nutshell. Takam made Yoka look like the old journeyman and that's something you can't come back from. Yoka is done.

It’s crazy how quickly things went south for Yoka. Right from the get go he beat Rice, David Allen, Dimitrenko, Wallisch, Duhaupas, Hammer & Petr Milas. Those are all recognizable names on his resume in his first 10 fights. He looked like he was progressing nicely until the Bakole fight. I’m not sure where he goes next. Losing to Takam is a huge setback.

Bakole was a huge step up for him and he looked like a crap in that fight. Takam is much older than Bakole, but even he made Yoka look amateurish.

Maybe was Yoka just overrated. As David Price, before he started collecting KO losses.

I would sell my soul to the devil to see Takam/Chisora 2 next. Loser retires, winner gets one last big fight. I'll be praying for that fight to happen lol

That is a good idea. And yes, guys like Yoka will never be at Chisora/Takam level.

IMO Yoka fought a wrong fight... should've just stayed at distance and used the jab throughout.
He got too close, and didn't stay busy enough.

Takem extended his fun career for a few fights with this win. You know there are a few fighters who are that level below but will never give a half effort. Takem is one of those. I was glad to see him get the decision.

I was impressed by Yoka's early run, as you said there are some recognizable names on there. I think it was the Hammer fight that first raised some red flags for me; he won but he was clearly bothered by the scrappy tactics of his opponent.

I always felt like Yoka didn't like to be hit (more so than your typical boxer). He showed he had heart against Bakole but lacked the strength and power to keep the Congolese fighter off of him.

As for Takam, I can't really say the result is a surprise; he actually looked pretty good against Makhmudov. He's still very capable of giving good fighters hard fights.
