Yoka is going to have to have a long run of easy fights to gain momentum.

Takam should probably bow out on this, he wont get another win as big as this. Great way to end his career. He will more than likely carry on and be fed to a young contender tho.

Maybe was Yoka just overrated. As David Price, before he started collecting KO losses.
Huge step up? His best win before Yoka was Kuzmin or Wach. He also lost to Hunter. He has 7 more fights & the only names on his leger are Hunter, Kevin Johnson, Wach & Kuzmin. Bakole has rebuilt himself after the Hunter loss & is on an upward trajectory but he is not a proven contender yet. Kingpin & Wach are old durable punching bags & Kuzmin has already plateaued. To me Bakole & Yoka were on the same level in their careers before they fought. Bakole was able to rebound after his loss to Hunter but Yoka was not able to do the same following his first defeat. Yoka is at a crossroads similar to Kownacki. What do they do after back to back losses?

Kownacki was even top 10 by the Ring at some point. Yoka will probably never make it to that point. If you ask me, Kownacki will never be a contender again, he is probably done, he should have cashed out against Joshua as offered and he should have fought Chisora later. Yoka, I just don`t see what he can do, if he can`t beat old gatekeeper, he will not go far in pro boxing.

Bakole is already a fringe contender IMO, one more solid win and he is a legit contender.
