It seems that many gold medalists actually don't go on to become great or excellent pro fighters.

As for the heavyweights, one thinks of Audley Harrison, who just didn't reach those heights in the pro ranks.

The article says "There was a complete lack of urgency in Yoka' corner after Round 7" but then proceeds to say that Virgil was freaking out begging ol boy to fight and get the KO. Which one is it?

I don’t know the only part of the fight I heard was the last round where Hunter said that . The bad thing about ESPN is most of the time it goes to commercials anyway . For me it takes away from half the fight , what I did hear at times is solid advice from McGirt , Takam like fighting on cruise control but Buddy kept on him .

The judge that said Yoka won, should never work a fight again! This is absolutly the problem with boxing, just because a guy is at home and is chosen to win by the odds doesn't mean to not be fair; this was some B.S. yep I said it B U L L S H I T !!!!!!!

A lot of boxing insiders and coaches praise Vergil Hunter but I don't see it. You have an Olympic gold medalist but you can't bring him or urge him to beat a 42 year old weathered veteran? The truth is the only talent Hunter has been able to bring to the top was Andre Ward, no one else Hunter trained ever made it to champion level.
