I don't know where some here are making Ruiz this puncher. He has sharp fast punches that can stun or put down a fighter. Stopping AJ is not a mark of this lethal puncher, he showed more resilience and heart in that fight and in the next fight he looked like he had to get harpooned.

great wins for Fury, and in the midst of these his Legacy steamed past those of oft-beaten Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, brutally laid out Lennox and Wladimir and never met a near great opponent Vitali. Well...Maybe. Still, Wladimir Klitschko notwithstanding, Tyson owes his greatness largely to Wilder in much the same way Ali owes much of his to Joe Frazier.
If Wilder nails Ruiz Jr and sends him pitching forward, which is not difficult to envision, he secures his claim to being the 2nd best of his generation.Comment

Noooo. The first fight was a draw with Wilder doing all the hurting. The 2nd fight was an off night for Wilder, and this we know because....the 3rd fight again featured Wilder coming millimeters away from a KO win for the 2nd time.

1. Long enough. 2. Zero what a ****** question, don't try and put your lifestyle on to me i haven't played a single game since the 90s.
Ruiz has been allowed to come back in his fights, AJ was ****** assuming Ruiz was badly hurt and paid the price, In the Arreola fight he's fighting a washed up guy who's suddenly trying to be a counter puncher rather than a pressure fighter and against another washed up fighter and 50 year old man in Ortiz when he got with anything resembling a clean punch he tucks tail and is beyond terrified
it's absurd to imply being hit by a fat 6'6 Fury who can't even throw straight punches with the correct technique shows Wilder has a good chin, he wilted to him and he can't crack an egg with a hammer on his best day...
A kid i'm probably older than you son, so behave yourself and I don't think Fury punching with pillows I KNOW he does, unless he's SOMEHOW developed ridiculous amounts of power since his come back, the guy doesn't even pack the power of some SMW/LHWs...Comment

I'm not prepared to say that Ngannou is more famous or popular than Joshua, but I do believe from what I have read in recent years that MMA and UFC are trending more popular than boxing. That is, the fan base is growing more quickly than for boxing, so Ngannou, as the UFC HW champion, has the attention and interest of a bigger set of fight fans. Apart from that, I would argue that any crossover fight between major stars (in their primes) is going to attract even more attention than a standard show. If I were the managers of AJ, Wilder or Fury, I would be clamoring for a Ngannou fight more than any other match.Comment

Ruiz didn't lay AJ out. He caught him on the top side portion of the head, which threw off his equilibrium. Joshua couldn't recover and got knocked down several times, until the ref felt he had enough. Despite Wilder's occasional strange style, he has only gone down at the hands of the giant Tyson Fury. I doubt Ruiz will put him down, and if Deontay connects with that right, then it could be nite nite for Andy.Comment

Ruiz does not hit as hard as Fury. No way. Though he's faster for sure. Wilder is also fast. If Ruiz wants to take the risk to get in that close to let his hands fly, by all means, good luck.
ODLH is also wrong that he knocked out AJ. I'm sorry, but a guy getting up, able to talk and the ref waves it off does not constitute as a KO in my eyes. Sure, he was probably on his way to a KO loss, but that wasn't officially a KO in the manner it ended.Comment

Of course he hits hard fishnets, hes a heavyweight ,its no secret wilder is one punch Ko artist but its also true speed kills and ruiz has the faster hands/combos ,im just wondering why is wilder taking too long to sign contract.Comment

I've actually dealt with the guy in Wythenshawe on several occasions in the late 2000's and when he had Verhoeven in the camp in Belgium in 2015, I'm not just guesstimating his height or his "power"...Comment

Feel like people are underestimating Ruiz due to his subpar performance with Arreola after not fighting two years and switching trainers, but a disciplined and focused Andy would be as much of a threat as Luis Ortiz was when he first fought Wilder.
Though I think that Andy would lose in a similar or worse fashion. Still though anything can happen.
