Ruiz Junior has a more destructive offense than Tyson Fury.

But, can he apply that offense vs Wilder? I think stylistically the fight is difficult for Ruiz Junior.

For all of Ruiz Junior's hand speed, and combination punch ability. I have not seen a very high level of movement, educated pressure or the ability to cut off the ring vs a Top level fighter.

Before Ruiz Junior decked Joshua, he was being quite easily beaten 'And this was a aggressive Joshua, who was moving towards Ruiz Junior'.

Wilder's movement is not super great, but he has greater athleticism than Ruiz Junior 'Probably also has better endurance'.

Ruiz Junior is going to be in the danger zone all night, which is constantly fighting from Mid-Long Range vs Wilder 'When what Ruiz Junior needs to do, is close down that range'.

The more the range is closed down on Wilder, the less effective his power becomes.

Stylistically this is a great fight, because Ruiz Junior knows 'That he has to move towards Wilder, Ruiz Junior does not have the long range game to out box Wilder'.

This is a violent fight from the first bell etc.

Ruiz can and will easily counter that sloppiness with his fast hands and ability to fight on the inside.

From past remarks and articles from both Malik and Wilder,I've never held my breathe on this fight getting made. They're not going to risk cashing out Wilder against a fighter/fight in Ruiz that doesn't do all that well financially. If Wilder loses here, especially by KO which is a high probability, he's done along with that AJ payday.
Slap? He ran headlong into a right hand that set up from one of if not the hardest hitter in HW history. Slap? Lol let’s see you take that “slap” pork chop.

Yea, I think Fury DID develop lots more power in his comeback, particularly working with the Kronk Gym. He can throw punches typical of a guy that size who has bad intentions NOW. Wilder found out, Whyte found out .... anyone boxing him in these "Kronk" days will find that out. He's a different fighter than the old "tag with Klitchsko" days.

Ruiz and Wilder are both unique talents. This fight is a fan's dream matchup ... there are so many ways it could play out. I agree Ruiz has to move towards Wilder mostly, which is when Wilder is at his best trapping you. Both guys are drop-dead dangerous with those punches. Ruiz has a special knack for being able to fight bigger guys, particularly if they attack him. He is brutal in the trenches or trading. I can see many ways either guy could hurt the other. Whoever gets hurt first probably loses.

great wins for Fury, and in the midst of these his Legacy steamed past those of oft-beaten Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, brutally laid out Lennox and Wladimir and never met a near great opponent Vitali. Well...Maybe. Still, Wladimir Klitschko notwithstanding, Tyson owes his greatness largely to Wilder in much the same way Ali owes much of his to Joe Frazier.
If Wilder nails Ruiz Jr and sends him pitching forward, which is not difficult to envision, he secures his claim to being the 2nd best of his generation.
Deontay Wilder’s wife and kids have nightmares about Tyson Fury.

Andy's a good fighter, but a big factor is Fury's 85-inch reach, long legs, and superior foot movement to get in range to land his big blows.

Deontay is an awkward fighter and it's not as easy as it looks to step in the ring and find the right distance and timing when there's telephone pole jabs and a bazooka right hand firing back at you.
