yes "fragile" - both of them get repeatably rocked if not dropped in fights against completely unremarkable punchers and in the case of Wilder stopped by a feather-fisted guy.

I can't think of a big puncher either guy has been in with but I can certainly think of many times they've been hurt.

Well to have a chance of doing anything he needs to actually get him in the ring first

Serious questions: 1. How long have you been a fight fan? How many hours of video games do you play per day?

Professional heavyweight fighting is the hurt game. All fighters take punches and all fighters get buzzed and hurt; especially at the championship level. There is no shame in this, its just the nature of elite professional fighting. Ruiz Jr has been buzzed and dropped but he's always come back strong in those instances, a fact tha speaks to his excellent chin, stamina and recovery abilities. Deontay Wilder also has demonstrated an exceptional chin and toughness. He endured sustained beatings from a 6'9' 280lb man for many rounds befor succumbing to heavy, clean power punches. Not sure how many video games a kid has to play to believe that Tyson Fury is punching with pillows.

Ruiz isnt going to fold from a slap like Helenius did and stylistically is all wrong for Wilder. Against Helenius,Wilder threw sloppy, slappy type combos and the usual windmill right before he caught Helenius's dumbass trying to throw punches from way out of range. Ruiz can and will easily counter that sloppiness with his fast hands and ability to fight on the inside.

From past remarks and articles from both Malik and Wilder,I've never held my breathe on this fight getting made. They're not going to risk cashing out Wilder against a fighter/fight in Ruiz that doesn't do all that well financially. If Wilder loses here, especially by KO which is a high probability, he's done along with that AJ payday.

The 9th and the 22nd best heavyweights of the past half century clash whilst still in their prime. Huge fight.
                Upcomming:
                Fury vs. Usyk
                Wilder vs. Ruiz Jr
                Joshua vs. Franklyn
                Zhang vs. Joyce
                Yoka vs. Takam
                .....all huge fights.

I pick Wilder by late rounds knockout. Too much heart, power and reach, and has a great jab. Fury remains the only man on earth who is Wilder's equal, and that, by an almost imperceptible measure.

I agree that this fight is just hype and has little chance of happening, but I think the fight that Wilder's team is really looking for is the Ngannou fight. There is possibly more money in in a Ngannou fight than an AJ fight at this point (possibly), and a Ngannou fight definitely brings more exposure. Best of all, its another guaranteed highlight reel KO for Wilder 's resume.

Fragile guys don't ever ever go for the big money thing in the major leagues....they are only found in MMA, where the pay will just about cover their bus ticket.

Fury is barely Wilder's equal?? Fury dominated Wilder three times in a row! The last fight was as emphatic an ending as one could ever ask for.
