The Floyd vs Manny fight, that's funny yeah we definitely don't want nothing like that happening again! That's a joke.

Ppl say Bud is a ****** businessman, etc, but in reality he's very intelligent. He knows what this fight is worth, and of course PBC wants to downplay its value by saying Bud can't draw flies, etc. But Bud vs Errol would put all all that to rest. The thing is, fans are not ******. They'll pay to see this fight, vs some mismatch. On top of that, PBC inflates Errol's numbers to further lowball Bud at the negotiating table. Between inflating Errol's numbers and donwplaying Bud's value for this fight, they would rather have Bud think he's barely worth $100. By asking for more transparency, PBC is mad because it throws a monkey wrench in their plans to totally under pay and rob Bud blind. And Bud is totally aware of this fact. Being under Bob Arum for so long, Bud knows a shady deal when he sees one, and at this point, would rather no deal than a bad deal. It just lets me know that Bud is a man not of money, but of principle and that makes me respect him that much more. the fact is, I'd pay whatever to see that fight, because skill for skill, will for will, I know for a fact that Bud will beat Errol when they meet. I've been a student of boxing all my life. And I love Errol but being objective, Errol loses this fight all day everyday.

          Let me help you:

"The transparency (request) is absolutely baffling,” Espinoza told FightHubTV. “He got that in black & white. I’ve seen the contract. It’s there in black & white. The reality is we collect the money, we do the accounting. You can’t do accounting without being transparent. It depends on what transparent means. To most it means I know what the revenues are, I know what the expenses are, I know what the deductions are, it’s all out in the open. That has never been an issue on this fight or any other fight that we’ve been involved with.

Here’s where it gets a little more complicated. I get the right to approve expenses. First of all, I have a problem with that because what’s going to happen when I tell you, ‘OK, this is what TV production costs,’ and you say, ‘No, I think it would be cheaper.’ So, wait a minute. Now, I can’t produce it? We’ve been doing this quite a while. I know what it costs. … We’re not going to go into a promotion and have the risk of someone saying to us, two weeks out, no I don’t like that contract, I’m not signing it. Or go into it and say we’re waiting for a fighter signature and I don’t know when he’s going to get around to viewing this expense and signing it. It’s just not a realistic way to do business.

Crawford isn't asking for transparency, he's asking for Haymon and Espinoza to delegate executive privilege to him. And as Espinoza says... that's not a realistic way to do business.

A Harvard grad (Haymon) and a Stanford grad (Espinoza) are going to hand over all say-so regarding the financials of the event to a guy who probably failed kindergarten?
According to Espinoza "he knows what it costs because he's been doing it a long time" If Espinoza is being truthful could easily give Crawford a hard number and done.....but he won't because Espinoza does NOT want this fight and he will continue to make excuses for why it's not happening.

For the record, Arum, Lyle Menendez, Tadesse, Kacznski, Bishop, Jeff Skilling are all killers and crooks. All that Ivy League means is that they believe they're entitled to exploit the working class.

They just refuse to look at it for what it is. No promotional company or network is going to allow anyone, not even Cinnabon, complete approval over expenses

You can argue if you think the claim is true or not but atleast read the article.
Exactly, but that wouldn't allow the giant loophole for Crawford's diehards to continue pushing the narrative that he didn't duck, oh no, that was Spence.

Espinoza was speculating at that point on what Crawford may have meant by transparency. I didn't read the article, but I watched the interview. He said that he has a problem with it and gave good reasons why he wouldn't do that, but then names a couple fights where that exact same thing was done. So it has definitely happened before, Crawford is not asking for something new.

'Spinoza is playing blame games here. This fight is dead. Fans need to move on. Won't happen this year anyways. I'd be surprised if Spence would be back that quick after the Thurman fight.

Fans need to look at other fights like Crawford vs Ennis and stop waiting for nothing.

No, he's saying that the transparency was already given in the contract, but Bud wanted approval over expenses, and that just seeing the expenses, wasn't enough.
Spence stated that the contract was revised and sent numerous times in order for Crawford to see all of the numbers, but Bud would wait for weeks before contacting them or answering the phone with a new issue, which was approval.

Crawford won't fight Ennis. That falls out of line with the criteria he uses to pick opponents, I mean unless Ennis suddenly loses a bunch of skills.
