  • wow, those are great numbers even if there wasn't a UFC on the same night. I guess mayweather has proved that he is a bigger draw than pacquiao.

    • Had i bought the fight, i'd be screaming for a refund.....card was stacked but turned out wack, main event was even worse, a glorified sparring session. Best fight of the night was Cornelius Locke, for ***s sake...........

I wont and havent ever bought a boreweather fight, and although i was tempted only because of how stacked the card was, i'm glad my common sense prevailed....
so glad i didnt spend my hard earned $ on this p.o.s pay-per-screw........

Dude. The Theater numbers are not included and have not been released yet according to the USA Today article. Stop hating. The facts are the facts.

          • I said I would say it, and I will.

I take back everything I have ever said about Floyd Mayweather Jr. not being a draw, I am a jackass and deserve all the taunts his fans throw at me. Other Floyd haters should have the class to realize this is a great thing for boxing that THIS fight got 1 million PPV buys and admit they were wrong.

            And suck it Dana White.

I honestly believe it really had to do with A LOT of Mexicanos/Chicanos buying the fight for 1. It being on diez y seis weekend, and 2. Because people bought it to see fmj lose....

maybe so, but compare the numbers to marquez-pacquiao. do you think a another fight between pac-marquez would generate 1mill?

All is forgiven until Mayweather-Pacquiao get it on.

If it's true I stand corrected. I believed it would do around 750 - 800k. I guess Mexicans are desperate for a new hero.
