I'm not sure if Tank could beat GRJ, that's why I want to see it! Mario Barrios was 5'10" also! Tank didn't have a problem fighting him, so why not Gary Antuanne? 2 Beasts from the East, both from Maryland!
You and I have a good relationship thus far, but if Browny fights Gary Antuanne, I'm going with Russell! I just can't cheer loudly because I can't piss off the Wife! Fajardo and Vieques are only a short ferry ride apart! Lol!
Barrios ain't no Antuanne Russell, like I said I would favor Tank to beat Russell after going through a hell, and back war.
I still believe Tank would bust up Gary Allen Russell, after a few round's of wearing him down with his power shot's.
Gary Antuanne Russell would probably be Subriel Matias' toughest opponent's in their division, but I still give Matias knock's him out in a war.
I can't remember all the fighter's at 126 throughout the 7 year's during his reign that he didn't fight.
I only recall thinking that he should've fought one fighter or another during his time as champion, I never cared for fighter's who fought once a year.
That's like holding the belt hostage, by preventing more fighter's from challenging you for the honor of possibly becoming champion.
In closing I don't hold it against anyone for rooting for another fighter, it's just a matter of opinion, or just liking a fighter's style of fighting.
Well, it comes down to one of 2 things, either GRJ has been fighting once a year because he is mismanaged or GRJ has been fighting once a year because he is 'cycling'. Either way, moving to 130 won't help. I gotta suspect it is the latter.

Who do you like for Alberto Puello vs. Gary Antuanne Russell? I read that's coming soon!
I mean, why not? There is probably better money in either division and he brings a name. He is a good personality and he will help promote fights, and will not scare any of the bigger, more profitable names in those divisions. He is at the age where it is likely more healthy for him to fight at closer to his walking around weight than forcing his body to trim down. I do not think he makes any real noise at the top of either 130 or 135, but he is not a scrub and can beat some of the more moderate talents. Like EVERY poster on this thread has already pointed out: He may need to actually be active to make this work. But if he is willing to fight a couple times a year he can have a nice, relevant run to end his career.

Gary Antuanne Russell, without hesitation to knockout Albert "La Avispa" Puello, who's going to be the one getting stung!
Let me put some more emphasis on my reply, he's going to get Rocked, Dropped, and Stopped, without any formality.
Two of his countrymen have vied for the top spot, and lost Ortiz, Garcia, (albeit after putting up a good fight), Puello would be the third.
The dreadnought's of the 140 pound division are in no particular order Prograis, Taylor, Russell, and Matias (The Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse), if you will.
When Haney, Davis, and Stevenson, move up they will automatically join the rank's of the dreadnought's (The Four Horsemen) will become (The Magnificent Seven).
Then it will be known as the best division in the sport of boxing, Lee need not be mentioned, Lopez has become a circus act, Ryan still has work to do.

Have you seen Shohjahon Ergashev? I like Brandun Lee! I haven't given up on Michel "Ali" Rivera yet. I think 140 will be better for him!
