There's more options for GRJ over at Top Rank. He would have been better off over there but it's not too late. Lets see what he can do at 130.

Gary Antuanne is another even bigger version (5'10") of Subriel Matias (5'8"), with a perfect record of 16-0 (16 KO's), it doesn't get better than that.
I think that your trying to get Gervonta "Tank" Davis killed suggesting that he fight someone of the caliber, height, and power of a Gary Antuanne Russell.
As crazy as this might sound I would still pick Davis to win that fight, after going through a hell that he hasn't experienced yet in any ring, against any opponent.
Such is the devastating power that Tank Possess in his fist, which is only surpassed by the most powerful puncher of them all Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder.

Gary was a very good boxer unfortunately he spent more time not fighting and talking about whom he would fight. I'm glad his brothers are at least fighting even if they get that AsS tapped, they will still fight whereas Gary did far to much talking about who he could beat, without actually fighting them. He's like 5'5" with ok power and aged for the weight class and now he want to try his luck at Jr. Lightweight, wish him well.

I was highly entertained! Looking forward to the rematch! Fulton is not "scrambling away" from anyone! His resume speaks for itself!

Five successful defenses in seven year's, and fighting only eight time's in eight year's is just anemic, what was he trying to do prolong his reign?
If his master plan was to extend his fighting career by only fighting once a year to preserve his body, and remain champion for a longer period of time.
Then that plan was a bust, he didn't fight some of the fighter's that fan's were eagerly anticipating, shortened the amount of defenses he could've made.
Fan's were left wondering if he had retired at certain point's of his career, because of the lack of activity during his career.
So he may have walked around bragging that he was the featherweight champion of the world for Seven year's, but who did you fight Gary?
More importantly who didn't you fight, that you could've who would've helped cement your place in the history of boxing?

I'm not hating here, just stating a valid point of view, that we all know how good Gary was, and how much better his career could've been.
If he only would've fought more often, he could've beaten some of those marquee names/high profile fighter's, but it just didn't happen!
He fought Loma when everyone else was scared, or getting KO'd, and quitting, etc.! LSC ran from him like a lil' *****! Who did you want to see him fight, that he didn't fight? I didn't like the inactivity either, but he was definitely fun to watch, and i think he should've gotten at least a draw with Magsayo, even with one arm!

I'm not sure if Tank could beat GRJ, that's why I want to see it! Mario Barrios was 5'10" also! Tank didn't have a problem fighting him, so why not Gary Antuanne? 2 Beasts from the East, both from Maryland!

You and I have a good relationship thus far, but if Browny fights Gary Antuanne, I'm going with Russell! I just can't cheer loudly because I can't piss off the Wife! Fajardo and Vieques are only a short ferry ride apart! Lol!
