Currently I doubt that all the boxing networks are even putting in $50 million yearly into all of boxing, the Canelo fights on Dazn are now PPV. Any fighter in boxing with any type of fanbase is on PPV. There aren't very many stars, all the other fighters are waiting around for a big payday, pricing themselves out of any type of good fight. It really has been a ****ty few years for the sport.

Everyone is to blame here, the managers/promoters/fighters. The sport will only keep shrinking if we don't get any type of meaningful fights.
This ****** greed has even infected the British promoters. Fury vs Chisora III is a joke of a PPV even at British prices which are much more reasonable. That fight should have been on BT or even the BBC as it was basically an exhibition.

It's a sport full of part time boxers. No surprise fights are getting canceled. When they're finally back, the performance is beyond decipherable.

Logan Paul is carrying the entire dying sport
Paul may be carrying for bubble gum teens like you.

But for the actual sport only canelo is carrying it.

          just look at hbo today,

HBO eliminated their boxing program and used that money to greenlight leftist woke shows like insecure, euphoria and other *****rstuv crap.

          this goes above boxing paygrade.

just like the american media industry, its totally unrecognizable from the 80s and 90s and even early 2000s.

You gotta start taking boxing less serious. It's not a serious sport like MLB, NBA, NFL, Soccer. I'm not saying the injuries and dangers of it aren't serious. I'm saying look at the titles situation, 4 per weight class? Why do we need so many champions per weight class? Look at the rankings of these titles.

This sport is all about events and trying to make money. It's not about all the good fighters fighting eachother.

Look at all the teams Lebron James has to face even though he's highly paid. The Lakers still have to face the best teams to become champions. So do the Warriors, and so on.

Yankees can't just pick and choose who they want to face in order to pad their record and make it to the World Series.

In NFL, there's only 1 Super Bowl, and it's one game. This determines the champion.

Boxing isn't like any of those sports.

It could probably benefit from copying some of those sports.

As a matter of fact, it can start by just copying its former self. When there was 1 champion per weight class and it was taken as something way more than just about money.

This dude must have only been watching boxing for a split second.

Promoters trying to keep things in house has been the standard way boxing has operated for a hundred years.
