It is obvious he's a little hesitant about fighting Crawford. I think he wants to wait it out maybe because Crawford is the older of the two so time benefits Spence.

What Errol thinks or wants isn't even relevant, Hayman runs the show so go interview Al Hayman for a change. Again, what Errol thinks doesn't matter...bottom line....Hayman isn't risking a potential lose that will decimate the value of the welterweights he controls .

Crawford, Spence, Charlo are fighters, Haymon isn't a fight fan anymore than he was a music man, Al is a businessman thats about money. The PBC business model is dependent upon belts and filling dates on a network, that's it, that's where Al makes his money. Legacy defining fights are only good if it makes long term money for Al Haymon, not Spence, not Wilder, not Jermal Charlo or any other fighter.

The only difference between Al Hayman and Bob Arum is that one promotes and the other locks fighters into a contracts with a higher percentage and much lower paydays.

Since Top Rank and Arum pay more money. Please explain why Floyd, Manny, Mikey, Mosley, TC and a host of other fighters have left Top Rank over money concerns? Your PBC or should I say hate of Blacks is showing lil fella.

The only conclusion I can come to about the whole Bud Spence debacle.....Bud fought everyone Arum put in front of him. He basically begged for Porter and talked about wanting Spence for years. If you look at it purely objectively, you see that PBC holds up fights, protects their fighters, only really wants in house fights.

The comments from Spence at this point make it clear that he isn't aching to get in the ring and prove he is better than Crawford. They negotiated for months and it ain't that hard to make a fight. PBC is PBC. Crawford apparently gave in to all of it but realized he was on the outside and so wanted assurances, because he got zero guarantee. Spence is a PBC fighter, he gets what he gets and doesn't ask questions. If PBC played with numbers and did some dodgy ****, Bud could lose alot of money.

Crawford is not scared, wants his fair share and wants it all on the up and up. That is reasonable. Meanwhile Spence is way out of fighting shape, hurt, and saying we'll see, who knows. It just seems obvious that Crawford wanted the fight, PBC pulled and pushed and did what they had to do in order to keep it from happening. That isn't Spence hate, at this point it is more than obvious.

I don't think they'll ever fight at WW. It didn't happen when they were both sounding firm on the idea and they now sound less enthusiastic, so hard to see it happening. I blame them both.

Ortiz should get a shot at one of them and Ennis at the other, if they're aren't going to fight each other.
