You might be right, but I think Roach want to point out was that, PBF needs to lower his price base on his present stature to consider the fight to go on. And true or not, regardless Pac having that difficulty to slick fighters.

That is not a coincidence. They now know the deal.
I have noticed. That is why I have said that Mayweather's next fight will be against Mosley. No way is Arum going to put Pac in the ring with Mayweather. He will kill the fight the same way promoters/managers always kill fights -- by asking for a ridiculous amount of money. Pac's next opponent will be a David Diaz type.

They haven't started negotiating for a fight yet, so they don't know what Mayweather will ask for. This trash talk is part of the negotiating processs.

I guess you think its not possible for Pac to price himself out of a deal. If Pac asks for more than 50 percent, he is pricing himself out of a deal because the numbers that count (PPV and revenue) favor Mayweather.

            Roach just TURNED DOWN 50/50

I hope Freddie Roach is not giving Pacquaio the same kool-aid he is drinking or Pac won't be able to pass the drug test.

Roach got part of it right. Pac doesn't need Mayweather. He can fight anyone in his next fight and get a two to three million payday. Unfortunately, he will have to fight three or four more quality fights to make as much as he would in one fight against Maywather. So, he doesn't need Mayweather ... unless he wants a $15 to 20 million payday.

Mayweather, on the other hand, can make $15 million fighting Mosley.

You are right. Mayweather fought the TWO best welterweights at the time in Baldomir and Judah. That was when Cotto was still fighting stiffs at 140.

Pac has not sold out a fight at all, with the exception of the Hatton fight. The Cotto fight is not sold out, in spite of the lies being spread. I would be willing to bet that the paid attendance won't be more than 1,000 above Mayweather/Marquez and I have already said Mayweather/Marquez will sell more PPVs.

Gayweather can take 40 percent or he can fight Mosley and get beat up.

Fact is it's Pac who's calling the shots not gayweather.
