Cotto might also be able to trouble him with the use of the jab and straight-right...

OK, not Pac and before the Margarito fight, but how many remember this fight:

Yes people are forgetting that fight, and the Mosley fight and the Marg fight that was Cotto's only "controversial" loss following Mosley vs Marg. People forget that Cotto can withstand speed, power, southpaws, and MORE IMPORTANTLY Bigger foes than that of little Pac. What does Pac bring that Cotto has not already experienced/beat?

I have Cotto beating Pac to the point that people will hate Cotto for beating the "smaller" man. Bring on Mayweather vs Cotto next year. Before that lets see Mayweather take on a real WW in Mosley. Winner gets Cotto/Pac. Let 2010 begin with a ****!

If Shane is still out there as champ when Floyd and Pac fight, he has a claim to being the best fighter in the division. If Pac beats Cotto and Floyd beat Shane, the winner of their fight is the clear cut number one. Its nearly impossible for that not to make it a bigger fight.
Are Mosley or Cotto bigger names than Mayweather and Pacman? No they aren't. Now as true boxing fans we all want to see a clear cut champion in a division. But the casual boxing fan doesn't care about that. They just want to see them fight.

bottomline.... pac can live off what he's got in the PI 4 lifetimes over.... floyd defaults on loans and has problems w/ the IRS... so Floyd needs pac, pac don't need floyd.

Really??? This is what you resort to??? if Mayweather can make 10M fighting Baldomire, i think he'll be alright w/o Pac. Pac on the other hand may need a miracle to get past Cotto.

I'm just saying... pac is comfortable... he doesn't have any financial problems liek floyd, neither does he live a flashy lifestyle liek floyd. therefore floyd needs pac, not the other way around.

Nah, i think both will be financially secure without the other. Who truly needs Pac & Mayweather is boxing. The state of boxing could really use this fight. The casual boxing fans are drawn to this fight. So lets hope it happens. Although I have a hard time seeing how Pacman is going to get past Cotto. But if somehow he does, then lets hope both sides can agree on the purse. I personally like the 60-40 to the winner that had been previously posted by someone.
