What was the purse split for Leonard-Duran, or Hagler-Hearns, or Frazier-Ali? Anyone know?

So you are telling me Floyd would have the balls to move up to 160lbs to fight P.Williams. Or did he leave his balls behind at lightweight. I respect Floyd's skills, his defense is second to none right now. But to say that JMM got his ass handed to him and that weight had nothing to do with it is Floyd nuthuggerism at it's finest. It would have been a lot closer fight with the skills JMM poseses and had JMM been a natural WW with his natural speed and power at that weight.
No point in telling him that they won't accept it, Floyd stans will say ANYTHING so Floyd can have something over Manny.Comment

Floyd did not sell out against Ndou. There were thousands of fans there but it did not sell out the Van Andel Arena. Now with Hernandez I am not sure if the fight took place in the same arena? But, I don't remember being a sell out. I remember seeing empty seats. And, I don't remember them mentioning how many fans were in attendance? I gotta go back and look at the tapes. But, believe there were more fans in the Ndou bout than in the Hernandez bout.Comment

Ain't that what Floyd said when Max brougt up Shane? I have to talk to my managers? Go back and listen and tell me if I am wrong.Comment

Agreed. To much ego from both sides. The fans will be the ones to really lose because any split close to 50/50 guarantees both fighters huge sums of money.Comment

We don't have any definite PPV count of the jmm-floyd bout and it seems thres so many gossip going around that it hit 1 million. The PPV result of the pac-cotto versus the PPV of the jmm-floyd bout will determine the profit sharing of this mega fight if ever pac hurdles cotto.Comment

I may be wrong but I thought Don King promised both fighters 3 mil apiece and both were shorted as well as having to pay the promotional fee. I could be thinking of another fight though.Comment

I'm not sure I just saw an article...
On BoxRec it claims both were guaranteed $2.5 million each in the first fightComment
