If both side won't agree a 50-50 split, Mayweather vs Pacquiao won't happen.. Both side has pride, hopefully they will meet at the center.

Unlike gayweather who's gonna be fighting Calderon next.

      And Roach is right.

Pac is gonna take the lion's share of the purse and Gayweather can stfu and have the crumbs.
It's all about NUMBERS at the end of the day. They will match up PPV (and gate) numbers based on their fights with 3 fighters they faced: ODLH, Hatton, and JMM.

Roach has said since Hatton that Mayweather, Cotto, and Mosely were the options. Pac hasn't ducked anyone. He'll fight two of the three before retirement.

Why does Pacquiao allow Arum to feed him his own money?

50/50 wouldn't matter, if Pacquiao had the balls to buy out of his contract. Pacquiao is big enough to roll solo.

If he thinks he’s going to get equal money with us, he’s crazy. He needs us, we don’t need him.” - Freddie Roach

MAYWEATHER IS THE MORE SKILLED BOXER !! AND I KNOW HE WILL MAKE MANNY LOOK LIKE THE OVERATED TERD THAT HE IS ! BUT I THINK A 50/50 SPLIT WOULD BE FAIR BECAUSE BOTH GUYS ARE A HUGE DRAW.. AND BOXING NEEDS THIS FIGHT.....

Why bother? There's no need to burn bridges when you're happy with the way things are. He's only fighting twice before retirement anyway.

Because Arum is feeding Pacquiao his own money. Pacquiao can roll solo, he's big enough name now.
