Did You Know Tyson Fury Would Become a Star

I did, I remember making bets with people on here that he would beat Wlad. Fury beats any version of Wlad. Anybody that understands boxing could see it was a stylistic nightmare for Wlad as long as Fury could prove he’s world level and be mentally focused.
Even a few years before Wlad I knew he was going to be a top level heavyweight, if he wanted it. I can’t say I thought he would be selling out stadiums, being on WWE etc etc but that’s because the division back then was pretty dead and it was hard to imagine a heavyweight having big crossover appeal again, although AJ certainly helped in the UK too during Fury’s time away.
But even early on, you could see in the fights where he was dedicated that he had massive potential. People always look at things like the first McDermott fight, but he didn’t even train for it, then he trained for the rematch and smashed him up. Fury’s problem early on was his focus and dedication. He always had massive potential in terms of ability.Last edited by deathofaclown; 12-06-2022, 05:46 AM.Comment

hahaha, just tell me which oneI don't know how to find archived posts - I'd love to see some of those old threads. Once in a while, LoadedWraps wraps might bump an old one of his

I remember when he did the Batman stunt.
I had also watched Cunningham drop Fury with an overhand right.
Aside from that didn't know much about him.
Chose Klit to KO him.
Chose Wilder to KO him.
After he KO'd Wilder in their second fight I jumped on the Fury bandwagon.Comment

Came back during the ascension of AJ where he had to flee to the US with mob help to avoid AJ selling out stadiums while he was lucky if 5000 fans showed up.I did, I remember making bets with people on here that he would beat Wlad. Still ducking AJ and Usyk.

Fury did not knock out Wilder in the second fight. Wilder was still on his feet and fighting back at the time of the stoppage.

If Fury was not stopped in the 12th round of the first Wilder fight, then Wilder for me should not of been pulled out in the second Fury fight.
I have always been adamant that, the fight was stopped too early 'But I understand why it was stopped from a compassionate perspective'.
Fury was winning, Wilder was taking a beating. But he was still fighting back.
And you just don't pull out a big puncher like Wilder, when he is still trying etc.

At first I didn't think he had the talent. Untill he showed more and more of his abilities. But then I saw those press conferences against Wlad. He looked in a bad state mentally, I thought there's no way this kid can handle this big time pressure against a dominant champ.Comment
