I'm not blowing my own trumpet, but I was the first serious Fury fan on this boxing forum.

That fight should have proven that he was much better than Price level but morons couldn't get it. His problem was he was a bit shy in the ring (especially against brawlers) and didn't sit on his punches. That's why first McDermott fight was close and rematch was a beating. Also, he liked talking trash since his pro debut but was nowhere near as showman as today. He became bald in 2014 and had throat injury during sparring in 2015. He had depression between 2015-2017. And, that created today's showman Fury with his appearance and experience.
He went bald su****iously quickly. I think he was abusing HGH and testosterone hard around this time.

Here he is practically admitting to his drug use and justifying it to himself by claiming "everyone" does it.

That's your poor delusion. In fact, genetics and stress are extremely effective on hair loss. So, real answer is John Fury and his depression stage.

Stress-induced alopecia has a different pathogenesis to androgenetic alopecia (aka male pattern baldness) and is usually temporary (i.e. it grows back).

The rest of the Furys - including Peter, John's brother - have decent heads of hair so it's just as likely John "I've got a chip on my shoulder about being a failed boxer" Fury is/has been a steroid user too.

I expected Klitschko to KO Fury ice cold.

When Fury beat Klitschko, I knew he was the real deal.

I clearly predicted him to KO American bum Wilder before the second fight and there were many Wilder fans laughing at me.

I missed by a mile on that one. Didn't even give him credit after he beat Wlad - just put it down to Wlad slipping. Only saw a big, awkward looking, lummox who punched himself in the face and got knocked down by a cruiser.

                      My bad..
