He was bright everytime. I started to follow him in Chisora 2 in 2014 but then I watched most of his fights. His first impressive performance was Chisora in 2011. He soundly outboxed him. That fight should have proven that he was much better than Price level but morons couldn't get it. His problem was he was a bit shy in the ring (especially against brawlers) and didn't sit on his punches. That's why first McDermott fight was close and rematch was a beating. Also, he liked talking trash since his pro debut but was nowhere near as showman as today. He became bald in 2014 and had throat injury during sparring in 2015. He had depression between 2015-2017.
