I don't know how to find archived posts - I'd love to see some of those old threads. Once in a while, LoadedWraps wraps might bump an old one of his

I never saw him being a star but I saw him being very good with a lot of traits that would make him difficult to beat.

My first introduction to Fury was at the presser when Haye and Chisora fought and Haye tried to diss Chisora by saying something along the lines of "you lost to Tyson Fury".

So that prompted me to actually tune into the Cunningham fight years later because I remembered the name. Then I remember the proposed fight with Haye and that is when he went bald I believe and that really caught my attention for some odd reason because it was like one fight to the next that it happened. After the cancellation of the Haye fight I decided to follow Fury's career a bit more actively and was impressed with what I saw.

When the Klitschko fight got announced I didn't necessarily favor Fury but I definitely saw him as a threat. With his stature, speed, youth, and at times awkwardness I was thinking he could very well upset Wladimir.

Since that fight (his comeback) I don't recall ever favoring another fighter over him even in a hypothetical match up. The first Wilder fight I knew for certain Fury could outbox him I just wasn't sure if his fitness had diminished to a point where he couldn't stay sharp for 12 rounds (which happened but he recovered).

Yes, Ledwaba was good. Died last year from Covid, really too young.

Not until he got himself on the pigs nuts. After that he was a different fighter and fell under the protection of being called "elite"....which has allowed him to win at any cost without consequence. Failed tests...PPV against no hopers and faded almost weres....whatever he likes.

My brother watched Tyson Fury’s debut. Called me over just as it was ending. Told me Fury would be HW Champion one day.

As for Manny I saw him first a fight or two before the Barrera fight. I told everyone I could about this kid that had one great move, a jab jab straight left hand. He was so fast and good at it, it didn’t matter that’s all he did.
When Barrera walked to the ring to fight Manny, my brother noticed MAB’s long ****s ( haircuts can tell you a lot in boxing ) and said he’s going to lose… sure enough.

Nope. Always thought he was a ko waiting to happen. Was miles out on this one.

I followed Wilder and Fury since the early days and knew they would eventually fight.

When Cunningham knocked Fury down with a right hand in 2013, I became convinced Wilder would knock him out.

I was wrong... Fury got much better with age... he trains harder than any other heavyweight on the planet... he'll have a long reign similar to Klitschko.
