How can you know how skilled a guy is when his opposition level sucks?

Exactly, if the opposition is REALLY bad then you can't know. That's why I said opposition plays SOME role. But Floyd's opposition level isn't that bad. Let's not be myopic and see things only in extremes. His opposition is very good, it's just that being the best in the world he has far higher standards than everyone else. If he was 'just another fighter' his resume would be considered impeccable and amazing.
