Pound for Pound is About SKILLS not OPPOSITION

actually P4P should be judged by a combination of skillset AND the level of opposition he's demonstrated that skillset on. In which case Floyd is #2 and Pac is rightfully #1. If you don't agree with me, I could care less because obviously this website and ring magazine seems to.Comment

Lmao!! You really aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you? Once you are off the juice you lose most of everything you artificially gained whether you keep lifting or not. This is a fact. and Mosley wasn't on steroids long enough to give him huge advantages anyway. Some advantages, yes. But once he was off them, good bye to everything they give him for that one fight.Obviously YOU don't know anything about steroids. It's only noticeable because when he's "off it" he's in off season i.e. not lifting anymore and resting. But Mosley is still fighting he's not retired so he still lifts weights and is maintaining the physique that steroids helped him obtain.
I'll tell you what.....why don't you post a pic of Shane during the first Oscar fight and one of him during the second fight. I'll bet there isn't much difference if any in his physique.Comment

how about this:You just proved my point exactly. It's all about how the fighter actually performs, resume plays 2nd fiddle to that though it still does play a role. But what's more important is not the who but the HOW.
For example Pacman beat JMM but he arguably lost so the who was ok but the HOW made Pacman look bad. Floyd fought JMM but owned him 120-107.
Pac beat the hell out of DLH & Hatton better than Floyd
hows that sound?
don't you realize how bad Floyd looks after that?Comment

Fulcrum....while you're off talking about shane in another thread Im still waiting for you to post picture from the first and second Hoya fights so we can see the huge difference in Shane's physique. You could at least do that. Seeing as this is your thread the burden of proof should lye on you.Comment

quite the contrary
he says that winning a fight automatically makes you more skilled than the opponent, so if cotto beats floyd then he's more skilled than him
maidana is more skilled than victor ortiz since he stopped him
prescott is more skilled than khan
hatton is more skilled than paulieComment
