Every single one of Canelo's wins has credibility apart from the first two GGG wins. He's fought more world champions than any other active fighter in the game. If you apply your silly "saboteur" reasoning to any other fighter you will find a way to discredit them too. There is no perfect sequence of fights where Canelo could have satisfied a stubborn hater such as yourself. He was always going to fight one fighter at some wrong time so you you'll never run out of bs "evidence" to prove your case against him.

So one bad night against Ryder and Callum Smith was a bum? How has Smith looked since the Canelo fight? It's much easier to criticize than give credit. Canelo's victory over Smith was very impressive and worthy of respect. Anyone who follows this sport seriously will acknowledge that.

Smith is looking better as he now doesn't have to boil down to SM. And his opponents don't look to sabotage him by only giving him 3 weeks to prepare. Oh, and throw in the fact he isn't in a pandemic environment so he can spar properly unlike when he fought Canelo at short notice when Canelo had been in camp preparing for him for months. Canelo planned it all to gain advantage. He just needed to convince Smith that there were other opponents he might take on so he couldn't settle into camp.

Didn't look drained in the least. Never blew up in between fights and always made weight easy enough. Consumate professional. Just beaten by the better fighter
