We have yet to see anyone go through Wilders punches without being dropped or stopped lol

Considering how Joe Joyce was stopped like 3 times in the amatuers, and how he's always there to be hit with right hands/left hands/everything, I would bet on Wilder getting him out of there. Of course, thats if Wilder isn't a shell of his former self.

Tbh, Joyce is primed for getting his block knocked off one of these days; he gets hit wayyyyy too much in a division where you could get your lights put out in any moment

I would like to see Joyce IMPROVE his Head Movement to go with that great chin rather than eating all those shots just because he can

Ultimately yeah like Kuzmin in the Amateurs sadly somebody will put a dent in that Chin it is just not sustainable that style

The criteria for a stoppage in the Amateurs is different than the pros. That said, I think Wilder wins this with a spectacular KO.

on the other hand, I thought Joyce would lose to Dubois and also to Parker, so apparently I am underestimating Joe. He just looks so slow and poorly balanced.

Would love to see this match up, a hammer against a wall

Tbh i think i wold go with Joyce at this point too much pressure and stamina from a heavier men, a beating like the one Parket just took would be too harmful for Wilder at this point,

But of course the one punch ko power makes it really interesting ... i think joyce could take it

This guy doesn't turn on punches and slips under them to take away the full impact like Fury who has still dropped 4 times over 3 fights and wobbled a couple of times. Make the fight. Either he steamrolls Wilder or the ring is broken when Wilder clips the 270 OX and he goes down. Definitely a PPV worth buying if Al wants to make everything PPV.

One false narrative about Wilder is he needs a full extension on the right. He shortens it up on Fury, Ortiz, and Washington.

He didn't really step into the punch or turn his hips.

Illegally pulled his guard down but was still effective.

Backup and got one through Fury's guards

I get it the cartoon Juggernaut and all but if he gets full impact on joyce he is going down.

If you don't move your head you can't beat Wilder. Joyce doesn't move his head. Walking through Joe Parker's punches is not the same thing.

                  Let's not forget the following:
                  1. Joyce is quite slow and a fast, mobile fighter should avoid most of his punches
                  2. Joyce does not move his head and gets hit a lot
                  3. Wilder's normal punches are just, the ones in which he charges in are the devasting ones.
                  4. Wilder is quite athletic in that he can evade a punch, but has poor balance and follow up. Fury hit him mostly after Wilder charged in and missed.
                  5. Wilder himself is getting old...which means less punch resistance, less fast reflexes, and less stamina than a few years back.

Having those advantages/disadvantages, I believe if the fight happens now with Wilder ar 37, he will evade most of Joyce's slow punches and will be able to connect cleanly with his power shots....Joyce will be in trouble. Particularly, if Wilder shows even some of the head movement and balance that he has exhibited in his latest training videos. A couple of years and Wilder will be slower and Joyce will wear him down and win in the later rounds.

                    Agree to disagree .

If wilder doesn’t get him out early he will be eaten up . Have to remember parker can box and wilder can’t . If his power falls short he’s a sitting duck again
