He should just keep his mouth shut and let the Warrens work out a deal with Hearn.
Well...We know that if Arum opens his mouth, it is to advocate for his own pocket being lined with more silver. It is never really about picking a legitimate pick lol. And part of that process is creating less fights for other promoters... so it kind of stands to reason he does not want that fight. His fight picks are almost as bad as Eddies!

It's time to retire the salty sore loser AquaJuice for good! Let's hope Fury will give a slow beating for several rounds, then KO him out cold!

AJ has no chin, Fury starches him.

AJ has been shakey since Wlad. In boxing, it only takes one punch to change the universe. Funny, it doesn't always change the same way. Fury was tip toeing when he got caught. He looked dead to me. When he got up, nothing was the same. All the, amor de lejos, flew out the window. He hit Wilder with the Kromk, rode him like a mule.

Which is a reasonable point, but does nothing to counter the suggestion that Arum is plainly resistant to this fight. It does perhaps give another explanation of why he is resistant, I suppose... Just because there may be other more financially attractive options for him.

Boxing fans are a weird bunch.

This fight will be close if it happens.

AJ has beaten Fury’s best opponent. Has a better resume than Fury, and is coming off of a close fight with a much more skilled technical boxer than Fury.

Fury’s size won’t be an issue for Joshua, his legs aren’t spindly like Wilders. Fury was knocked down multiple times by the worst technical boxer to a heavyweight champ in history. Fury has hit the canvas more times than Joshua, and been put down by lower levels of opponents than those that put Joushua down.

                This fight is 50/50.

If he thinks Fury wins easily, he should be eager as hell to make a fight that is guaranteed to generate a lot of money for everyone involved.
Well said.Wilder and Fury have hesitant to fight AJ but now they think he's low they suddenly summon courage to call him out. As good as people think Fury is he's certainly beatable by AJ and he and Arum know this.

Apart from the fact Arum might have little interest in an all-British fight where he has no role to play, he didn't say anything wrong. When you offer someone a voluntary opportunity to a title fight, they have little power to negotiate. Did Andy Ruiz Jr, for instance, ask Joshua and Hearn dates to suit him, or a 60-40 rematch split, or bring in his network contractual obligations in their first fight? The case of Joshua and Fury is similar.

For the fight to happen, AJ might accept the terms but will Eddie/DAZN allow him to fight elsewhere? He is coming off two consecutive losses, can he afford the 3rd one, and what would be his value afterward? I am sure Eddie and DAZN would be asking these questions. So, while it is an interesting fight, I do agree that Eddie/DAZN would be having other thoughts.

Looked into it. Following the 1st Wilder fight (2019) he signed a 5 fight $103 million deal with ESPN & to be co-promoted by Top Rank in the US. Queensbury remained main promoter but 2 fights a year had to be in US. Schwarz, Wallin & Wilder 2/3 were all in US & Whyte fight was last on the deal. His Top Rank deal is done…
