It helped that Ruiz wasnt exactly high pace/volume.

There's nothing left for Ortiz at PBC. If he wants work, TR would be the spot! Frank Sanchez will be the new Boogeyman at PBC, when all is said and done!

Oh boy, this is when family, friends, or even the promoter/manager needs to step in and talk the fighter into retiring.

Almost got stopped by Charles Martin and now 3 KDs in one fight. Ortiz is still old lol.

When you're trying to prove people wrong with how you lost, you're probably old and definitely a gatekeeper.

Ortiz was courageous, but couldn't deal with Ruiz' fast hands. At this point, Ortiz is no longer a contender, more like a gatekeeper.

I have always liked Ortiz. Even picked him to upset Wilder in their first fight.

But I am not sure he beats anyone in the top 10 right now.

To be honest, he can still knock out somebody like Helenius.

So what does that say about Andy Ruiz then? He barely beat Ortiz on points even after 3 knockdowns.

He couldn’t knock Ruiz down with some shots that would have ended most fighter’s evenings. He still has power
