AJ expended a lot of energy in the 9th trying to finish Usyk and he needed more than a one minute break before the 10th to recover.

It's a pattern we've seen over and over throughout his career. He puts his foot to the floor in one round, then needs 2 or 3 rounds to recover from his exertions.

From a professional eye, he was down 7-1 going into the 9th.

That information should make people cringe... the fix was in. I thought AJ was going to get the judges bought enough if it went the distance... I am suprised I am still here.

Garcia speaking very candidly, seems unlikely he'll be involved with AJ anymore.

It was up to this clown to get him through the fight. That's what he was paid but I know why Joshua picked him and it was a big mistake. Go Kronk and stop playing around.

Not many HWs can throw that much and stay in the game. It isn’t unique to Joshua.

That image of him stumbling around vs. Klitsckho has obviously burned into people’s memories, but the key in both instances is that Joshua had neither fighter sufficiently damaged for an all-out assault like that to come off. Just ends up being ill-timed

Word. Usyk had total control of that fight, and you’d need to be blind, not KSAB, or be paid off to suggest otherwise

I know Robert, heard that he himself said that Joshua was scared to throw big punches. That AJ is scared to throw and get hit, he saw it in sparring during camp

AJ is particularly prone to punching himself out though, because of all the muscle he's packing. Remember when he decked Dillian Whyte in the 3rd and went all out to finish him, then had a couple of bad rounds himself in the 4th and 5th.

Robert Garcia thinking AJ gave up and lost heart when he couldn't put Usyk away is maybe a reflection of the fact that Garcia has never trained a huge muscular HW like AJ before.
