He probably didn’t’ even train for the fight. He probably saw the fight as a way to make some easy money,

He’s going to be ready for Andy Ruiz however. That’s the fight he has being searching for and looking for a very long time.
What about when Ortiz was in his prime and he went 12 rounds with kauffman ? Fact is his punch resistance went when he was in his forties. He should retire his best years are behind him. His biggest moment in his professional career was when he got clobbered by Wilder and his eyes were wide like he had just seen Jesus of nazareth

        Pretty much my picks

If Wilder faces the winner (after he destroys Helen), Wilder and AJ will be FOTY candidate while Usyk gives him a boxing lesson.
        Wilder would crush Andy

Ortiz had already been beat by Wilder when they made that short notice offer in 2019.

There is a reason old ducks like Pov and Pulev got the AJ fight and not Ortiz despite signing with Matchroom in 2016

Well that might be true. We shall see because only time will reveal. However, if what you are saying is indeed true then Andy Ruiz should have no trouble in stopping and knocking out Ortiz.

However, everyone knows that Andy Ruiz will have his track shoes on against the old man. His plan is to stick and move and box. There is no way that he engages, exchanges and trade punches toe to toe with “King Kong” Ortiz.

Your lying , Ortiz left his mandatory position and terminated his 3 fight contract leaving the last one despite knowing A.J was next in 2017 . He then got taking out of multiple rankings fir testing positive with whatever while he sighted to fight Wilder .

Povetkin was a mandatory so Ortiz wouldn’t have anything to do with it though his own team admitted they declined 7 million.

Pulev was also a mandatory and was before Ortiz was but he postponed fights .

I'd definitely favour the Ortiz of the first Wilder fight over Ruiz. But considering he was already old as shyt back then 4+ years ago and been hurt multiple times since, I feel like Ruiz would probably get the better of him in a war of attrition now because with the age factor he should be able to take more punishment and keep a higher pace.
