If Benavidez moves up, the light heavy division will finally be interesting. It's been a weak division far too long.

Beterbiev vs Benavidez would be a FOTY type fight no question.

Boxing has a PBC problem. It's a fcking disease.

And I believe Charlo beats him. Charlo is a boxer-puncher, he uses movement and angles in creating his offense, setting everything up with a hard jab. His footwork is much better than Benavidez, and he doesn't take a punch to give one like David. It would be a good fight because Benavidez is tough, but with his defense and come forward style, he would be walking into Charlo's jab and power punches until he can't.

I don't know about all that, but I'm willing to pay $75 to see the outcome!

I keep forgetting how young he was when he was having all his problems. Like 23 when his title was stripped?

I am willing to give him another chance as a boxing fan. The length of the irresponsible list is long for most of us from our late teens into our early twenties, so if he has learned his lessons and is focused on achieving serious goals I am excited. He has a skill set I love for this sport and I like his personality in front of the camera. However, if I am advising him I am begging him to stay at 168 a little longer. Assuming Alvarez wins over Golovkin, who is left for him? feel Bivol and Alvarez both may move on from the rematch. Benavidez is a natural fight for the man who would still be the undisputed at 168. I would personally be more interested in that than a Charlo fight with either of them.

Beyond the cash though, I would love to see Benavidez at LHW. That would be fun.

Again... if he has learned his lessons and is dedicated.

That would be some epic war, Beterbiev vs Benavidez. Both guys are fearless, and don't duck anyone.

But if you ask any of these mentioned, they will say they are ready to go! Some of these fighters are just happy to put a social media comment to get through their day. The reality of things are they are all afraid of Benavidez, and that includes Canelo!
That is in fact a lie. David's side said they wanted more for an Andrade fight than they would get for a Canelo fight. They were looking at 10's of millions for that fight, which is crazy as David is a 200,000 Dollar fighter on the open market.
