Even the Morrell fight was scrapped.

What's the point of Benavidez sticking with PBC?

Big mistake to leave his division with Canelo still there holding all the belts and David finally has him cornered. He can't hide much longer without being totally exposed as the ducker he is. The GGG fight itself is a joke but after him there is literally no possible way for Canelo to not fight him for his next 168 fight.

There's Charlo, Plant, and what happened to the Morrell fight?

        Very very sad.
****ing Plant? Please don't mention that joke fighter. Canelo already pumped up this loser as a big fight and as usual he ****ing sucks. Canelo begging these organizations to rank ****ty fighters for easy fights.

He's a 175lb fighter anyway and it's clear Cowardnelo will never fight him or anyone else darker then him. Hint. Hint.

He doesn’t have to move up he walks into the ring every bit a LHW every time he fights. I suspect he will find out what his brother did when he gets to the right weight class, guys don’t fold because of size. I think David is a good fighter but him fighting at SMW is simply draining off weight. I bet he can’t get that much longer.

Benavidez would need time and more fights before facing Beterbiev (if he's smart). Bivol and Ramirez are do-able though. Marcus Browne, Pascal (if he makes it back), and Morrell are do-able fights too. Not sure why the Morrell fight has faded away ....

Imo , Benevidez would be a little green against Bivol or Beterbiev
I like him facing a Marcus Browne , would be a good fight entering the new division
See what he brings or not

When does it end? When will boxing go back to producing real champions on not just have a pay-for-a-belt model?
The swamp you described begins draining of slime when fans and media stop ascribing championship status on fighters who collect ONE OF MANY MEANINGLESS BELTS. They are simply belt-holders until they beat all top athletes in a weight division. The silos of talent created by promoters, sanctioning bodies, broadcasters: this is the cancer of the sport.
