I think he means back in the day, if Broner had lived up to the hype and was prime, with Mayweather not being far past prime. Under those circumstances, a PPV would have done well

Okay, yeah, back when they first fell out and had words. I'd agree with that.

Because he's shot and will never make nine figures fighting professionally. Hell, given his current status, he won't make it in an exhibition vs old Mayweather either.

Not sure how good your reading is mate but I've clearly stated I'm not talking about if they fought now.

Well that's the point, isn't it.

The whole point as IF Broner lived up to his hype, which he of course didn't.

No, I suppose not. You were going on about a lot of hypothetical maybes.

You can say the same about Broner. Then Broner lost against Maidana and was never the same. The same can be said about Khan. Khan became a loser after he lost against Garcia. And then a losing trend followed. Despite losing, both kept trying to position themselves for big time money fights....even though neither deserved it.

No one wants to see that circus show. I’d rather watch Paul fight a real gorilla or bear.

For me, I always try to think of Broner when he was in his prime, strong work ethic, disciplined, in tip top shape, at light weight. That Broner was indeed a problem for anybody near his weight. He fell off when he started hopping weight classes on that PBC cherry pick/avoidance business model, to try to rob the bank. When ppl know they're cherry picking, they lose hunger to train hard, because to them, it's almost like a fixed fight where they already know the outcome in advance. And by the time u start eating strippers out on stage and making babies with them, u know the proper mindset and focus to train, rest, and eat the proper diet, is long gone

Well, maybe we read this part wrong then

“We can do an exhibition, 10 rounds, and the whole world is gonna watch it," Broner said. "And we’re gonna go in there and go to work and hug...”
