After 5 mins of negotiations broner has agreed to low 6 figures. AB had this to say about the deal “9 figures..6 figures..what’s the difference? We both beat manny pacquaio this gonna be a helluva fight”

Yeah, I mean, what is Broner's greatest performance?

most people claim it's the DeMarco fight

So the greatest showcase of his skills was against a slow, limited, washed up plodder, who never won a significant fight again after that

That's not exactly the stuff legends are made of

It did 1.5m because Mosley was one of the most well established names in the sport who had spent the better part of a decade in and around the pound-for-pound list, was coming off a big career-rejuvenating win over Margarito and - perhaps most crucially of all - had twice shared the ring with the biggest draw in boxing, De La Hoya, and arguably won both times.

Best case scenario (Broner accomplishes everything and then some), this fight possibly pulls in a similar number. Again, no where near "breaking all PPV records."

No big deal though, we all exaggerate a bit now and then.

Please admit Mr Broner to the nearest insane asylum. Delusional is just not a strong enough word to describe his absurdity.

Everything you said in the first part would be the exact same case with Broner except he'd be undefeated and at the top of the P4P list in his prime, not 38 and past his best years like Mosley was.

Shane Mosley was never a big star, even when he was P4P #1 he wasn't a big PPV star and even after his two fights with De La Hoya.

So the fact that did 1.5 for the mere fact they had a mild rivalry going on, if anything shows the opposite of what you're saying.

Added in the extensive story line, two brash characters not just one, two undefeated fighters, etc. It easily does 2 million +

A 40 year old Pacquaio vs a past it, struggling for relevance Broner did 400k, and you think that hypothetical scenario, at best case scenario does 1.5? Bare in mind Mayweather-Ortiz did 1.3 Million

                  Somehow I don't think so.

Floyd would never take it, too risky. He would be worried about Broner showing him up. It’s not a fight that earns each of them 9-figures.
