Usyk should be #1, HW division trumps all. He made Tyson Ducky go into retirement.

Nope, the winner of that fight becomes the undisputed number one fighter at 147 pounds. A tremendous achievement.

P4P isn't real, in fact it's silly when you really think about it.

in a mythical matchup, Crawford beaks both of Inoue's orbitals, not just one like a war-torn-over-the-hill fighter. funny how ring tries to keep putting people over him like that little chocolate guy who got knocked out cold.

No problem putting him ahead of Crawford

i this Crawford is brilliant, one of my favourites to watch but the reality is that he’s collected a lot of belts without really beating top fighters.

Usyk cleaned out a tougher division than the one Crawford did. Although most would agree he isn’t the no.1 heavyweight and the belts he won were not by beating the best because Fury is. Although Usyk has had an excellent career, he’s now been at HW for about 3 years and present time matters, and can you truly have someone as p4p number 1 when he isn’t even no.1 in his division he’s settled in?

So for me, I think Inoue is as worthy as anyone else really.

              laughable
He should get nothing but the utmost DISRESPECT for that fight, taking a 175lb fighter who just got the **** beat out of him and had been brutally KOd twice before, giving him only 2 months to recover, taking away all his strength with a rehydration clause, bullying him with his financal privilege by saying take it or leave it.

The day Terence Crawford pulls **** that disgraceful is the day I am no longer a fan, but there's double standards in boxing, your fanbase excuses that bull****.

Crawford is above Canelo purely due to being a three weight undefeated champion who has never been humiliated in the ring.

The latter was never the very best at 154, 160 or 175 and needs to defeat Benavidez to lock up 168.
Never been humiliated? **** that, nobody has ever come close to even beating him. These same casuals who call Porter and Postol a bum will tell you Billy Hoe Saunders is an icon of boxing.

                    Fielding decimates everyone Bud fought.
Yildy > Porter all day and Porter is Bud's best win

The eye test is always the most important factor. However, most do not understand boxing on a technical level and cannot make accurate appraisals.

Canelo has never been dominant in his career-defining wins like the other P4P ranked boxers have. "The face of boxing" winning is best for business. Hence all the corrupt scorecards.

He has had a carefully managed career much like AJ (ODLH even admitted it ). That is not to say they are no good, just that the casuals were sold something far greater than what they got.
If you are not looking at both eye test and resume, than I think your P4P list is based strictly on preference of personality. (Which hey... your list. Do you.) Let's take your examples. I have defended Whyte more than most based on his resume. But that is NOT a P4P conversation. When you watch Whyte fight, you can tell he is not dominate. So defending his resume does not put him on a P4P, just that compared to others at HW he has fought decent competition. Obviously, the eye test tells me all the top end of the HW division are all much better. Canelo can be criticized for not fighting some at 160, but his unification of 168 and two fights against 175 are nice resume builders. But the way he has fallen on P4P lists shows your criticism of him is not wrong. He looks most dominate against lesser fighters, and when he lost he drop fairly far. So the eye test hurt him.

But on my unimportant, completely biased P4P, I move Crawford down way further than most. There is no one that passes an eye test better than him. He has the entire package as a boxer. He has been dominate and done it in a variety of ways. But his resume is just... blah. He unified 140 which is nice. But his competition is not a "Who is who" of boxing, it is more of a "...who?" So he deserves to be in a top 10, but where he goes on list depends on how much value on eye test against a resume.

I personally care more for resume. I care about eye test, but I am way more concerned with how you perform in bigger fights. Championships are not as important to me. They are too watered down.
