I feel like this validates the critique that Canelo faced while with GBP: he fought a bunch of big names who were past their prime to build up his name. Moseley, Mayweather, Cotto, GGG, Kovalev, all past prime when Canelo fought them; essentially their names at the time surpassed what their abilities were- and once were.

      Yup.

Bivol is the first really good fighter in his prime Canelo has ever fought.

I mean, Callum, Saunders, Plant were in their prime, but they were not dangerous fights.

I must repeat again, Bivol beats everybody Canelo has ever fought before.

He wanted to go for what he thought was another cherrypick at another weight to fool people and then call it legacy.

AS a matter of fact, he was not aiming for Bivol, he was aiming for Makabu or whatever his name is and the pressure form social media made him stop that foolishness.

If people would've not talked badly about it, we would have you and other Canelo nut huggers telling us HOW GREAT "Nelo" is and jerking off to a poster at your mommy's rooms.

And you would continue with the ****** narrative of how great this POS B+ f u c k is one of the greatest of all time.
When have I ever said Canelo was one of the greatest or acted like a nut hugger? I never even rated him that highly.

Even if he was going for Makabu, that was to get another belt in another division to enhance his legacy.

If he beats someone, it's a cherry pick. If he loses it's a cherry pick. Childish name calling. Some of you weirdo's are way too emotionally invested.

And he was trying to get more, possibly unify like he did at 168.

When Oscar says Hearn got Canelo beat because Bivol was the wrong style, he's basically admitting that he was feeding Canelo a bunch of ppl he thought was good for his style, while avoiding ppl he thought was a bad style for him. And we know who Canelo avoided and we know why. Blatantly avoided Andrade like a yellow dog, for YEARS, as well as Benavidez. Ran from GGG for YEARS, until Oscar convinced him the timing was right, that GGG was getting old and slowing down. Against Bivol, Canelo got himself beat. He got beat because he was running from fighters he didn't want any part of, and he thought Bivol was easier. He just finally made a miscalculation on who he should fight and when he should fight them. His disgusting system of cheating the fans, while robbing the bank, this whole system of pick and choose and avoid, has finally caught up to his dumb ass
