Bernard Hopkins - Legendary or Overratted

When did Roy Jones ever SLUG IT OUT in his prime? His main goal was to NOT get hit.

Not to mention the biggest criticism of Jones is that he lead a mostly "safety first" career.

Lol this thread is awesome because we learned that Pernell Whitaker is not an all time great or legendary, Roy Jones was a brawler and bernard hopkins has no skill, he faked his way into a hall of fame career.

please man not another round of hopkins excuses...he consistently beat up on fighters that had to move up two divisions to fight him...he didn't necessarily need SKILL to beat up on smaller men who couldn't hurt him with anything anyway...

don't fool yourself..soon as hopkins stepped off the official scale, he was much bigger and far stronger than tito, oscar, winky, pavlik, robert allen 15X, echols 10X, morrade hakkar (lol), eastman, simon brown, etc. despite what nobody says he lost decisively to jones, calzaghe, and taylor 2x...fighters he couldn't bully around...its always the man's fault when hopkins loses....

If Trinidad was a legit win, then why is Trinidad 3-3 at 160 and above?? Shouldn't ATG fighters do better than that??? Joppy, Mayorga & Cherifi were his wins .
