        bottom line is this: hopkins is a good natural lightheavy who overachieved by scaling down to 160 and making a name for himself beating men in lighter divisions...the polls support this

          excuse and irrelevant...the fact is he entered boxing at 175 and lost, then scaled down to 168, then to 160

          if he entered boxing @ 175, ran off 20 straight wins and captured a title, this would be a moot point
