lol, that was a pretty good schooling. but lets think about it, if calz was knocked down by jones wrist, and a light punch by hopkins, what would they have done to calz in their primes?

Have you ever boxed? Taking a shot to the entire face with a forearm hurts more than just about anything. Also how can you say Joe was hurt. He went down probably more out of nerves than anything. Fighting in the U.S. in such big fights etc...He got right back up and immediately started punching. Were his legs wobbling? Did he look dazed? No. He looked fine, he looked like he was overestimating his opponents, thought he was hit by something bigger. Also everyone knows the last thing a boxer loses, unless they have hands problems is their punch. Fact is Roy hits just as hard now as he ever did, same with Bhop. Just watch them. Its just as hard.

And who is debating the BHop decision. The only debate is how someone could even put Bhop as the winner. Guy got outworked in all later rounds. Joe threw more, landed more, and controlled the fight. I dont see how not throwing punches and grabbing is grounds for winning a fight. Bhop threw more headbutts that fight than punches. And he flat out cheated. Faking an injury is cheating, im sorry but it is. You must be a big Margs fan because thats in the same league. Sorry, but it is. If Bhop wasn't hurt by Joe, why did he have to fake an injury twice. Such a joke. Id happily go round by round with you and discuss which rounds you think Bhop won because Ive watched that garbage fight countless times and theres no way you can say Bhop won it.

He landed fairly big a few times (well as big as playdough hands could at that point of his career.) It was more the hot-dogging.

I don't think a prime Calzaghe ever truly existed. When he was young, he could punch but was wreckless, when he was old he couldn't punch but was a great ring technician.

People can find a prime RJJ but nobody can point to a prime Joe Calzaghe. Maybe that's part of his greatness.

It's hard to argue either way.

IMO calzaghe had one brutal round vs roy..that was the round he cut him and hurt him..the blood just made it look like something it wasnt.. It was nowhere close to what he did to Lacy
