I thought Roy was still fairly dangerous.

He landed a huge uppercut in the 6th (I think), absolutely flush.

Other times he was just getting completely drown in there and an over-zealous ref could have stopped it.

But Roy is certain well well well past his best, it was just flashes, very brief flashes. I reckon he'll still get some kind of World strap before he bows out.

whats up with all those slaps. Calzaghe hits like an olympic korean amateur trying to score points

I think Prime Roy wouldve taken down Calzaghe. For his age, Calzaghe is fast at 37, fighting a 40 year old Roy. Roy's style relied on his physical speed, so this fight didnt suprise me.

I guess he had to come out strong AFTER losing the first 2 rounds!!.....Roy fought the wrong fight!!.....he was goin' for the KO after he saw he could hurt Joe....wrong move!!......I guess if you just stand in front of Joe he'll look GREAT......give him some angles and movement and he'll look AVERAGE like he did against the 43 yr old dude from North Philly!!!

Round 3 of HOPKINS vs CALZAGHE was nothing like this .... so it amazes me how anyone can think that Jones beats Bernard in a rematch. nuff said!

You english limey jokes have to support fighters from other countries 'cause your own are ****. While you ********** over that Welshman Calzaghe(who hates the flucking english), we have better fighters in one state than you english jokes(hatton pffft). Unlike you I'm not gonna pretend fighters from Canada are American and support them like you English losers do with Welshman Calzaghe.

Joe was the man that was down in the fight and for how "Chinny" Jones is why couldn't Joe finish him, instead you can hear Roy telling him he can't knock him out. Jones shoulda went all out in this fight.

                      ain't roy

That ain't Roy and you and everyone else knows it. There was something up during that fight, he wasn't himself and thats obvious. He could have finished it in the 1st round if he wanted to but for some reason there was something wrong and who knows what it was. He could have finished it just like the 5th round on the Tarver 3 fight. He had him hurt but chose to back off of him, Im confident if Calzaghe gave a rematch that Jones would knock him out.
