Also taken into consideration for scoring is " ring generalship" and " effective aggression ". There are no points or consideration given for missed shots hitting air, shots that hit gloves, elbows, arms and hips. If you go by rules, Canelo never won a round. He rarely connected to the head or body at all. Very very rarely . And whenever he did connect, Bivol returned firing 6 punch salvo's . Bivol topped everything Canelo did. Every round. As I've stated many times, with no exaggeration, Bivols face looked better after the fight than it did before the fight. Ring generalship ? Canelo looked like an unranked amateur in the fight. Bivol controlled that ring maybe better than any fighter I seen control a fight, round after round after round. He just did whatever he wanted, how he wanted and when he wanted from round 1 to round 12. This fight was a one sided beating. I'm telling all you Canelo fans, next time is going to be shocking for all of you. It's going to be a frightful beating . The fight won't go 12. Bivol is going to land bombs in the next fight . Take that to the bank.
          This is all 100% true

Funny how everybody looking to give rds to Canelo like as if owns every round

The guy won 2 rounds, he could have also won 0 rounds in my books.

I favored Bivol in this fight

i was surprised Canelo took this fight

i don’t know how you underestimate Bivol

If it’s true the Bivol has a contract with The promoter and Canelo is a free agent, then I could see Bivol looking bad on purpose to secure a Canelo fight and either the promoter was in on it or he doesn’t know boxing.

But Canelo and his team are more to blame for taking the fight and listening to the promoters sales pitch, but the fight was fixed bad, but maybe they had every intention of Bivol winning but they wanted to show Canelo they tried with that terrible score. But if it was a close fight who knows, maybe they score it right for Bivol. I think Canelo knows that he will win as long as he can legit win 3 rounds. He couldn’t do it against Bivol. He probably won 3 rounds in the first GGG fight

If he believes that, as the winner, then he must understand how other viewers gave Canelo 5 rounds. If Bivol says a higher maximum, for example 2 rounds, it would make sense. But if he, as the winner, thinks the loser could have gotten 4 rounds at best, then he needs to realize 1 more round above what he thinks, is not an exaggeration.

With that said, I had it 7-5 for Bivol. A lot of people gave Bivol all of rounds 1-4, which I didn’t think any fighter in particular “won” any of those. Those rounds were too close. I think round 5 was when Bivol really started pouring it on Canelo. Also, the fighter with the clearest rounds won was Bivol. He won his rounds in dominating fashion. Canelo, even in the rounds he won, labored a ton.

Only proving that Canelo and team underestimated Bivol. Was it a feat worthy of admiration? Sure. But not to the extent some of us have labeled it. Hearn clearly admits that he didn’t expect the Bivol from this past Saturday after watching his last two fights. They thought they were going to catch Bivol slipping.
They're kinda dumb only studying only his last 2 fights, i always defended Bivol as not a cherry pick and was capable of beating canelo, since i started following his career since 2018, but apparently they thought it was a cherrypick for them due to his last 2 fights.

The only rounds canelo "won" are the rounds bivol didnt dominate, and the stats back that since canelo got outpunched all 12 rounds.

Like I said before, boxing is thoroughly corrupted to the extent that there is always some scorecards ****ery in every single fight, even if the right victor is declared.
