Cong****! I don't post much either but I do read a lot of the postings. I guess I've outgrown the whole debating passionately too. I just read and laugh

Me and a few others. I actually saw a member who joined Dec 2003....unless it was a misprint. I could hardly believe it. Just the day before yesterday in fact.

But about 9-10 years ago a lot of trash also came in, and after a couple of years of obscene abuse , I quit. Boxingscene asked me to return but I'd had enough.

I checked in periodically. and just a few months ago was very impressed by the intelligent, serious minded comments , so I came back to the board. And glad I did, because I regard us all, as a sort of "fraternity".

But I don't like the new format one little bit. Also I think the management has changed its attitude, being more mercenary and less friendly. Almost as if they no longer are in control, but taking orders. 1-2 good writers have gone, and a few not-so-good have arrived. One or two have deteriorated and show their bias.

One in particular is Mayweather crazy, and ignores the obscene advantage he took of Corrales that awful time, when Corrales spent the whole pre-fight 3 weeks in the sweatbox, still 9 lbs over on fight morning, failed the weight twice.... had to be helped to walk to the scales, Of course Mayweather has no, never had any shame. Supposedly his "greatest" win.

Corrales' life had been ruined, family gone, and he was going to jail for 2 years right after the fight. The whole purse went to his lawyers. His promoter Shaw did nothing to help him.

It is like Ali getting top credit for beating Cleveland Williams as his "finest" show of skill, when Williams , just 2 years before had been stopped "for speeding" and shot by a lunatic policeman, died 3 times on the operating table, had lost a kidney, other organs and 11 ft of small intestine, much nerve damage, as well as being permanently semi- paralyzed from above the knee of his left leg.. It took him 18 months to recover enough to fight 3 set-ups before Ali. It was criminal.
And the poor guy died broke, hit-and-run crossing the street. A simple, kind, really good guy, both he and his wife. Exploited, abused. swindled and abandoned.

I recall a judge saying the the thick 6" wall of stomach muscle was the only thing that saved his life. He carried the pieces of bullet in his hip and other body parts for life.

              Crazy!

Yeah, some good and some really bad. I still remember those days that the site would crash right after every single big fight. It doesn't crash as much these days although it did crash after this Canelo fight but back in the day it was pretty much a given that you would not be able to log in and post right after a big fight

Don't be naive. Bivol just being coy. He knows he won every round. He's giving Canelo some praise for one reason. And that is to get Canelo back in the ring for a MASSIVE payday. He's playing his cards right. Let Canelo think he did well. I predicted the fight to a tee the first time . And I'm going to predict the rematch to a tee this time. Instead of winning 12 rounds clearly like he did last time, this time , not only will he torture Canelo every round, the ref will mercifully end the match in the 9th round this time. You want to see my last fight prediction ? Go to YouTube and the Abel Sanchez prediction video on the fight . His video was a month ago. Just type in " Abel Sanchez Bivol prediction" it should come up. I'm " Bonzo " in the " comments " section . Ask me any questions there and I'll respond to prove its me. Whatever you do, when your looking for predictions, don't look for any by fighters , current or ex, trainers current or ex. Nobody is more ****** making predictions that these people. And they sway bookies too. All bookies had Canelo 5-1 . After the fight , everyone of these bookies, ex trainers , current trainers , ex fighter , current fighters say " oh Canelo is a super middleweight ". Get out of here . Then why your ****** predictions ? Before the fight when asked why their prediction was Canelo winning , they would say " oh Canelo TOO STRONG "...After the fight they say why Canelo lost " Oh he's not a LH , too small , not strong enough , he's a super middleweight " ...lol . Enough is enough . These guys don't have a clue about the exact sport they are in. Why can a guy like myself , who's only watched boxing for 53 years , watch a few videos of the 2 combatants, and nail the result to a tee? Overrated ? These people , " experts " in the fans eyes, making predictions on this fight , should be ashamed of themselves. Canelo , maybe the biggest fraud in boxing, all-time.

Bivol is the most generous. Or he was probably just baiting Canelo for a rematch.

Canelo was outboxed during the whole fight. That must really hurt..
